Introduction: Cold house

On the cool, north side of the entrance hall, you are entering to House 11. In the summer, it’s dedicated to decorative plants, in particular the fuchsias. In the winter, though, it serves as a refuge for plants that can’t tolerate frost, and especially for those that bloom during our winter. Especially noticeable are the camellias, as well as the azaleas, whose magnificent blossoms immediately grab visitors‘ attention. Both of these plants are from Asia, but some representatives of the Americas are also on display here.
